FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions our clients ask most — and the ones people we contact ask, too.

What types of debt do you collect?

Business receivables backed by documentation: credit invoices, rent, progress payments, instalments, service fees and subscriptions, among others. We handle both recent and aged debt, and adjust our approach to the age of each account.

Do you work with small businesses, and across the whole Kingdom?

Yes. We serve SMEs through flexible engagement models and larger companies through tailored programmes, and we work with clients across the Kingdom, as most of our work runs through remote channels. We contact debtors in Arabic and English.

How are your fees calculated?

It depends on the portfolio and the service: a commission on amounts actually collected, a fixed fee, or a combination. We confirm this in a written proposal after reviewing the portfolio and before any commitment.

Will outsourcing collection affect our relationship with our customers?

Our approach is designed to protect it. We agree scripts and tone with you, stay within the authority you grant, and look for workable solutions rather than confrontation. An amicable settlement often keeps the door open for the debtor to return as a reliable customer.

Who decides on discounts or settlements?

You do. We agree an authority matrix up front defining what we can approve directly; anything beyond it comes back to you for a decision.

Do you receive the collected funds, or are they paid directly to us?

The payment mechanism is set in the agreement. As a rule, debtors pay directly into your official accounts or through an agreed official channel, and we verify and document every payment.

How do we monitor our portfolio's performance?

Through periodic reports at the frequency that suits you — with an executive summary and file-level detail — plus a dedicated account manager who keeps you updated on anything significant.

How do you protect our data and our customers' data?

We sign a confidentiality agreement before receiving any data, exchange files through secure channels, restrict access to those who need it, and follow the principles of the Personal Data Protection Law. Full details are on our Compliance & Confidentiality page.

What happens if a debtor refuses to cooperate?

We first exhaust every amicable option. If that fails, we prepare a complete file documenting all correspondence and supporting evidence, and hand it to you or your approved law firm for the appropriate legal action.

What documents do you need to get started?

Debtor details and any available contact information, the contract, invoice or note evidencing the debt, a statement of account, and any prior correspondence. We provide a standard template to make preparing the portfolio easy.

How quickly can we start?

Once the agreement is signed and complete files are received, we begin reviewing them within one business day and deliver the action plan within a few days, depending on portfolio size.

How can I verify that the contact is genuinely from Sedad Mawthooq?

Our staff identify themselves and the creditor at the start of every contact, and never ask for passwords, verification codes or card details. If in doubt, end the call and ring us on our official number +966 56 611 8820 published on this website, or contact the creditor directly to confirm.

How do I pay safely?

Pay only through the official channels stated in the formal letter or message sent to you, which you can verify with the creditor. We never ask for transfers to personal accounts and never accept cash outside approved procedures. Keep a receipt for every payment.

I dispute the amount, or want to make a complaint. What should I do?

Tell our team member about your objection; we will document it and refer it to the creditor with your supporting documents, and will not pursue the disputed amount until it is resolved. If the amount is correct but you can't pay it in one go, let us know so we can propose a suitable payment plan to the creditor.

Concerns about how we communicated can be sent to complaints@sadadmag.com; we acknowledge receipt within two business days and resolve complaints within ten business days at most.
